Fountain Hills Medical Center will offer full Laboratory Services to support and treat patients in Fountain Hills and the surrounding communities

Fountain Hills, AZThe Fountain Hills Medical Center (FHMC), located at 9700 East Saguaro Boulevard in Fountain Hills, will offer full Laboratory Services when it is complete in late 2020. The FHMC is a physician-owned hospital and will be staffed by board certified medical providers.

Clinical Laboratory Services are tests provided by a medical lab that aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients. “In today’s environment, having a laboratory close to home has become even more important. Fountain Hills residents and those living in the surrounding areas will be able to get test results and begin a treatment regimen right away,” said Pete Peters, project manager for the Fountain Hills Medical Center.

FHMC Laboratory will offer a comprehensive test menu for acute care patients seen by its physicians.  From complete blood counts to chemistry panels that range from general health to organ-specific testing, complete urinalysis, and a variety of state-of-the-art molecular testing platform diagnostics (including infectious agents such as Strep, Flu, RSV and Covid-19). “FHMC is here to support our physicians as they deliver the best of care to our neighbors in the Fountain Hills area” said Peters.

The Laboratory is an integral part of FHMC that performs testing on different types of samples provided by our patients.  When a physician orders a test, that test will most often be performed in the laboratory with diagnostic information provided within a few minutes. Clinical labs will be drawn and resulted in 24 hours, allowing physicians to provide patients with the best treatment options.

The Center will also offer a variety of services, including an emergency room, imaging center with CT, X-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, pharmacy and in-patient beds. The fully accredited hospital will serve both children and adults and include in-patient and primary care. The emergency room will be open 24/7 and Urgent Care Services plans to be available Monday-Saturday, with evening hours available. The Hospital will accept all insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.

The new 12,500 square foot Medical Center is scheduled to open in November/December 2020. Individuals interested in learning more about the hospital or employment opportunities, should visit www.fhmcaz.com and also follow us on Facebook @FHMCAZ.
